The new GreaterSmithtown hits 100,000 views in just four months

In just four months, the brand-new community news website GreaterSmithtown was viewed over 100,000 times, with over 55,000 unique visitors flocking to the site since its fall launch.

The site, which covers the local happenings in the Town of Smithtown and the hamlet of Lake Grove, launched Oct. 15.

It broke the 100K mark in February, and as of March 2, the site has been visited by 126,344 readers.

GreaterSmithtown is published by Greater Long Island Media Group, LLC.

“I’m thrilled with the immediate success of GreaterSmithtown,” said Nicholas Esposito, the editorial director of the news company. “Clearly, the people of Smithtown and its surrounding communities are hungry for community news that Greater Long Island Media Group delivers.”
