10 photos from Smithtown Fire Department’s annual Christmas Parade

|

The Smithtown Fire Department’s 41st annual Christmas Parade rolled through the streets Saturday night.

Sirens could be heard for miles as the decked-out fire trucks drove through the town, showing off their painstakingly done displays.

The motorcade kicked off at 4 p.m. and slowly passed by Smithtown Town Hall, Meat Farms in Hauppauge, and the Morewood Shopping Plaza.

The firetrucks also made their way down several residential streets in the area.

Children and their families stood outside their homes, waiting for Santa to come down their block.

Each location had a collection box set up for new toys and non-perishable food donations, according to the fire department’s Facebook page.

Below are 10 photos we captured from the night.
